1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. pumpkin, mashed
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. mace
1 pinch cloves
1 pinch paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 pinch black pepper
1 tbsp. dark molasses
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. milk

Blend all ingredients and pour into a large pie crust. This makes a very large pie so use a 10-inch pie plate, and crimp the pie crust high on the edges or it will decorate the oven with the over flow. Yield 1 pie.
