WALNUT TEA BREAD 
2 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. soured milk
3/4 c. nuts, chopped

Cream butter and sugar. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Add egg to butter and mix. Add flour mixture and milk alternately. Add nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes in a buttered bread pan. Cool on rack.
