2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. water
4 c. pecan halves

Mix all above ingredients into a 3 quart microwavable bowl. Cover with wax paper. Microwave 4 minutes on high. Stir and microwave 3 - 4 1/2 more minutes until soft ball stage. Add 4 cups pecan halves and place on wax paper.
