CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
5 eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla flavoring

Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs. Beat, add flour, baking powder and milk, mix well, then add flavoring, salt, cocoa. Put in cold oven, set oven temperature at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Do not open oven door until time is up.
