FRUIT CRUMBLE PIE 
TOPPING:

1 1/4 c. self-rising flour
6 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar

FILLING:

1 lb. fruit (apples, peaches, blueberries)
Sugar to sweeten
A little water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rub the butter into the flour as for pastry. Add the sugar and mix through. Slice the fruit. Place in a greased pie dish and add the water and sugar. Sprinkle the crumble mixture thickly over the fruit and bake near the middle of the oven until the fruit is tender, approximately 1 hour.
