COCKTAIL MEATBALLS | |
2 lbs. extra lean ground beef 1/2 c. finely minced onion 1 c. soft bread crumbs 3 eggs, beaten 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce 1 (10 oz.) jar apricot preserves 2 1/2 tbsp. orange or lemon juice 48 toothpicks for serving Make 1 inch meatballs from a mixture of the first 4 ingredients. Combine all remaining ingredients to make sauce. Place meatballs in a large Dutch oven; top with sauce and cook on low heat for 50-60 minutes. Serve hot with toothpicks. |
