1/2 c. shortening
2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 c. hot water
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. sweetened applesauce
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. pecan nuts (3 oz. bag)
1 box raisins (15 oz.)

Mix sugar, shortening, eggs, water, flour, etc., applesauce, raisins, nuts. Bake 2 1/2 hours at 275 degrees.
