TASCARONES 
1 lb. Mochiko sweet rice flour
4 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded coconut
1 lb. box dark brown sugar
2 to 2 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter

Mix water and brown sugar for syrup. Bring to boil and simmer while mixing other ingredients. Mix flour and coconut in bowl. Add baking powder and milk slowly until well blended. If more milk is needed after adding the 2 cups, add a little at a time until consistency of biscuit dough. To the syrup, add cinnamon and butter. Boil to soft ball stage.
