GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
Potatoes
5-6 slices bacon
Celery
Onions
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
2/3 c. sugar

Cook and cube hot potatoes. Fry together bacon, celery and onions to your taste. Remove from pan. Place remaining ingredients in pan. Bring to boil and thick slightly. Add bacon, celery and onions and pour over potatoes.
