FRUIT SALAD 
1 lg. can chunk pineapple
20 maraschino cherries
Sm. can mandarin oranges
1 lg. banana
20 red or white grapes

SAUCE:

3/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. water
Pinch of salt
1 sm. c. vanilla pudding cup
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan, mix sugar, water, few grains of salt. Bring to boil. Thicken with cornstarch mixture. Cook until thick. Remove from heat and add vanilla and vanilla pudding cup. Pour over drained fruit, when cool.
