ROCK RUN PECAN | |
Nonstick vegetable cooking spray 3 tbsp. butter, unsalted 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. onion powder 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 2 1/2 c. pecan halves Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line a rimmed cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick vegetable cooking spray. Melt the butter in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the Worcestershire sauce and seasoning. Stir to blend, then remove from heat. Add the pecans and toss well with the seasoning mixture. Scrape the pecans and any seasoning mixture remaining in the pan onto the prepared baking sheet, and spread evenly. Bake on the center shelf of the oven for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove and cool for 1 hour. The pecans can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks. |
