TUNA MELT PIE | |
2 lg. onions, chopped 1/4 c. butter 2 (6 1/4 oz.) tuna, drained 2 c. cheddar cheese, shredded 1 c. Bisquick 1 1/4 c. milk 1/8 tsp. pepper 3 eggs 2 tomatoes, slice thin 1/2 c. chopped celery Cook onions and butter in skillet until onions are light brown. Sprinkle tuna, 1 cup cheese and onions into greased pie plate and celery. Beat baking mix, milk, pepper and eggs by hand until almost smooth, pour into plate. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Top with tomato slices and rest of cheese, bake until cheese is melted 3 to 5 minutes. Cool about 5 minutes. Serves 6 to 8. |
