2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. white syrup

Put in pan and cook over medium heat to the soft ball stage. Add 1/2 cup chocolate chips and set aside to cool for 15 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and pour into greased cake pan.
