CORN CASSEROLE 
17 oz. can whole kernel corn
1 med. onion, chopped
1 stick butter
1 c. saltine crackers, crushed
3/4 c. mayonnaise
1 c. cheddar cheese, grated
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter in a casserole dish. Mix together all ingredients except the crackers. When the butter melts, tilt the casserole dish to coat the sides. Pour remaining butter into the cracker crumbs and mix together. Pour the corn mixture into the casserole dish, and top with the cracker mixture. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
