APPLESAUCE CAKE 
4 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. applesauce
2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. chopped raisins

Sift dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar and add eggs, one at a time.

Alternately add dry ingredients and applesauce. Fold in nuts and raisins.

Turn into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan or two 5 x 9 inch loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees until cake tests done - 1 1/2 hours for tube pan, 45 minutes to 1 hour for loaf or 15-20 minutes for tiny loaf size.
