1 qt. strawberries
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 (10 oz.) bottle 7-Up
Few drops of red food color
1 pie shell, baked & cooled

Wash and slice strawberries. Over medium heat, cook 7-Up, sugar and cornstarch until thick and creamy, stirring constantly. Cool completely. Add food color and fold in berries. Pour in pie shell. Let set a couple of hours and serve.
