FINNISH CRACKERS 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. Crisco shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/2 c. buttermilk with 1 tsp. baking soda in it
2 c. quick oatmeal
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger

Mix good. Roll out on floured board with rolling pin. Cut in strips size of crackers. Bake at 350. Do not them burn.

I roll them all out before I start baking. Lay crackers close together on large cookie sheets. I cut mine about 1 1/2 inch wide and 2 1/2 inch long (roll them thin).
