STOVE-TOP FRANKS 'N BEANS 
1/2 lb. franks, cut in quarters
1/3 c. chopped onions
1 tbsp. butter
1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
2 tbsp. catsup
1 tbsp. brown sugar or 1 Equal
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Saute franks and onion in butter in skillet until franks are lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients, stir gently. Cook over medium heat about 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring often.

I was looking for a quick, easy way to use up leftover low fat all-beef hotdogs (which were, by the way, surprisingly good), and this recipe fit the bill perfectly. It was enough of all the right flavors to remind me of a childhood favorite without being overly sweet. And it didn't make too large a batch--really, who wants leftover reused leftovers?!
