SIS ROSE TEA CAKES 
1 c. sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Flour

Cream butter and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat until smooth. Add milk, soda and vanilla; mix well. Add enough flour to make stiff easily handled dough. Roll very thin on floured surface. Cut as desired. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
