SHEEPHERDER'S DIP 
4 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (5 oz.) pkg. chipped beef
3 tbsp. mayonnaise
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 loaf Sheepherder's bread or sourdough round
4 dashes garlic salt
4 dashes pepper
6 chopped green onions
1 sm. can diced chili Ortegas (if desired)

Cream all ingredients except beef and onions. Add these 2 ingredients last. Cut a 5 or 6 inch circle in bread and hollow out. Stuff with cheese mixture and wrap tightly in foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with raw vegetables of your choice.
