WHISKEY CAKE 
4 eggs
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 c. milk
1 pkg. pineapple cake mix
1 pkg. pineapple or vanilla instant pudding
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Beat first 3 ingredients well. Add remaining ingredients. Slice 16 maraschino cherries in half - put around bottom of greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes on lower rack of oven.

SAUCE:

1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. whiskey

Melt butter, add sugar and whiskey; keep warm. Pour 1/2 cup sauce over cake immediately after removing from oven. Cool cake; remove from pan - cherries on top. Pour remainder of sauce over cherries.
