SALAD BAR SANDWICH 
1 round loaf of unsliced bread
1/3 c. Italian salad dressing
1/2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 med. tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/4 cucumber, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. sliced ripe olives
4 lg. leaf lettuce leaves
1 pkg. (12 oz.) turkey variety pak
8 long wood or plastic skewers

Cut bread in half horizontally. Hollow out bread leaving a shell about 1 inch thick. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon salad dressing in each half. Combine vegetables, except the lettuce, and remaining salad dressing. Line bottom half of loaf with lettuce leaves and 8 deli slices. Drain vegetables and spoon over slices. Top with remaining slices and lettuce leaves; cover with top bread crust.

Place 8 long skewers in circle through all layers. Cut into 8 wedges and eat like a watermelon. Makes 8 servings. NOTE: Sandwich may be made a day ahead. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. (Source: Louis Rich)
