BAKED ZUCCHINI 
2 lb. slender zucchini, sliced in 1/2 inch pieces
1/2 lb. bacon, cut in 1 1/2 inch pieces
3 med. onions, sliced into rings
Ketchup
Salt
Pepper
Basil

Put bacon in skillet. When it sizzles, add onion rings. Stir frequently, cooking until onion is soft. In 2 quart (or larger) casserole, put layer of squash. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a little basil. Do with ketchup. Cover with a layer of bacon and onions. Repeat until casserole is filled. End with bacon, onion, and ketchup on top. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir a couple times during baking.
