OATMEAL CARAMEL BITES 
1 pkg. candy caramels
5 tbsp. cream or milk, melt together
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. quick oatmeal
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter

Mix above ingredients. Press 3/4 of mixture into 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Pour caramel mixture into baked crust. Sprinkle with 2 cups chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped nuts. Place remaining 1/4 crumbs on top. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
