AMISH SHOO-FLY PIE 
CRUMB MIXTURE:

2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Mix until crumbs are formed.

SYRUP MIXTURE:

1 c. molasses
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. hot water
1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in hot water

Mix syrup mixture thoroughly. Pour half of syrup mixture into unbaked pie shell, then add 1/2 of crumb mixture. Repeat with second pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
