PUMPKIN DESSERT | |
1 box yellow cake mix 1 stick butter, melted 1 egg, beaten 1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin 2 tsp. brandy (opt.) 3 eggs 1/2 c. brown sugar 1-2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. granulated sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts (opt.) Remove 1 cup of cake mix and reserve for topping. Mix remaining cake mix with 1 stick butter (melted) and the beaten egg. Press this mixture into a greased 9"x13" pan. Then beat together the pumpkin, brandy, 3 eggs, brown sugar and cinnamon and pour over the crust in pan. Combine the reserved cake mix with the soft butter, sugar and nuts and sprinkle over the pumpkin mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 55 minutes. 30 servings. |
