PERSIMMON PUDDING 
Pudding:

2 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/8 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine all ingredients. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Bake for 15 minutes.

Turn temperature down to 325°F and bake for 45 minutes.

Syrup:

1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
3 c. flour

Remove pudding from oven. Cut pudding into squares. Cut 1 stick butter into pats and drop over top.

Pour syrup mixture over pudding and butter. Place back into 325°F oven for 30 minutes.
