SEASONED GREEN BEANS 
1 lb. green beans
2 tbsp. olive oil
6-8 cloves garlic
1 sm. jar pimientos or sweet red pepper, cut in strips
3 slices bacon, diced
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. minced parsley
Salt & pepper

Cook beans in salted water 5 minutes. Drain and set aside. Heat garlic in olive oil until brown, remove and discard. Add pimientos or red pepper and onions to oil. Brown slightly. Add bacon, parsley, sprinkling of salt and pepper. Add beans, cover and cook until tender over low heat, about 20 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
