LEAN MEATBALLS | |
2 lbs. very lean ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped finely 1 c. dry bread crumbs (or flavored, if you like) 2 tsp. garlic powder Salt & pepper to taste (1 or 2 tsp. of salt and 10 grinds of pepper or so) 3/4 c. water (or whatever is needed to make meatballs moist) Wash your hands thoroughly. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and knead well with your hands. Form mixture into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Place meatballs in a shallow baking dish and bake for about 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. |
