SOUTHERN CORNBREAD 
1 c. Martha White corn meal
1/2 c. Martha White self-rising flour
1 egg
1 pinch of sugar
milk (buttermilk or regular)

Mix corn meal, flour and sugar. Beat in egg and milk to desired consistency.

Have oven preheated to 395°F to 400°F. Have round small iron skillet hot with small amount of grease. Sprinkle a little corn meal in grease. Pour mixture in pan and cook in heated oven for about 20 to 30 minutes (according to oven).
