HEATH BRUNCH COFFEE CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
2 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1 (5 oz.) box Heath miniature candy bars
1/4 c. pecans or almonds

Blend flour, butter and sugars. Remove 1/2 cup of mixture. To the rest add buttermilk, baking soda, egg and vanilla. Blend well.

Pour into a greased and floured 10 x 14 x 2 cake pan.

Crush finely Heath miniatures with 1/4 cup nuts and add to 1/2 cup of mixture. sprinkle over top of batter and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
