SHRIMP JAMBALAYA 
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced okra
2 c. hot cooked rice
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 c. chopped tomatoes
1 1/2 lbs. shrimp, peeled and deveined

Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Combine flour and seasonings; blend into onion mixture. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and vinegar until smooth. Add tomatoes and okra, stirring constantly until thickened. Add shrimp and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Stir in rice and serve. Yield: 6-8 servings.
