APPLE PANCAKES WITH CIDER SYRUP 
3 sweet apples
2 c. milk
2 c. Bisquick variety baking mix
Bacon
1 egg

Prepare bacon. Peel and core apples; dice fine. Beat egg. Stir in Bisquick and milk. Add apples. Make silver dollar sized pancakes on buttered skillet or on buttered grill. Form 2 piles of cakes, surrounded by bacon. Serve with hot butter and cider syrup.

CIDER SYRUP:

4 c. apple cider or a tangy apple juice
2 c. sugar

Add sugar to cider (or juice) in saucepan and simmer 5 to 10 minutes.
