LOWER CALORIE PANCAKE SYRUP 
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. molasses
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 c. water

Mix cornstarch with sugar and molasses; add water. Boil, uncovered, 4 to 5 minutes, stirring as needed. It thickens slightly as it cools. Must be kept in refrigerator for future use.
