1 lb. butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
4 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter, sugar and egg. Add flour and vanilla. Mix well. Put into cookie press. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 350 degrees.
