CHINESE CABBAGE SALAD 
1 lg. head Chinese cabbage
8-10 green onions, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. sesame seeds
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles
1 c. oil and 1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. wine vinegar

Brown sesame seeds and almonds in 1 tablespoon oil; cool. Cut cabbage in fine shreds. Crush noodles in package; discard seasoning packet. Mix all ingredients; chill and serve.
