CURRIED FRUIT 
2 lg. cans peach halves
1 lg. can pear halves
1 lg. can pineapple chunks
1 jar maraschino cherries
1 pkg. dried apricots (these are expensive and can be omitted)

Drain fruit for one hour. Add 1 heaping tablespoon curry powder to 1 cup light brown sugar. Place fruit in large baking pan (one layer only). Sprinkle sugar mixture over fruit. Dot with 1/2 stick of butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
