MOM'S BEST APPLE CRISP 
4 c. thinly sliced peeled cooking apples
1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Cream

Mix first 3 ingredients and arrange in shallow 6x10x2 inch baking dish. Mix next 4 ingredients. Add egg and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle on mixture in dish. Drizzle with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes. Serve warm with cream.
