OLD TIME BREAD PUDDING 
8 slices, buttered toast, quartered
1/3 c. raisins
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1/8 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten slightly
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease 2 quart baking dish. Layer toast in dish and put raisins over top. Mix 6 ingredients and pour over toast. Let stand for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with a mixture of 4 tbsp. sugar plus 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve warm with cream or milk poured over. Serves 6.
