DILLY CASSEROLE BREAD 
1 pkg. dry active yeast
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
2 tsp. dill seed
2 1/4 - 2 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt

Sprinkle yeast over warm water. Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm, combine in mixing bowl with sugar, onion, butter, dill, salt, soda, egg and yeast mixture. Add flour to make a stiff dough, beating well after each addition. Cover, let rise in a warm place, 85 degrees, about 1 hour, or until double in bulk. Stir dough down. Turn into well greased 1 1/2 quart round casserole. Let rise in warm place until light, 30 to 40 minutes. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) until golden brown, about 40 to 50 minutes. Brush with butter, sprinkle with salt. Makes 1 round loaf.
