CHEESE CASSEROLE BREAD 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. powdered sugar substitute
1/2 tsp. dried whole Italian herb seasoning, crushed
1/3 c. skim milk
1/4 c. reduced-calorie butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
Vegetable cooking spray
1 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

1. Combine flours, baking powder, onion, salt, sugar substitute, and Italian herb seasoning in a medium bowl; make a well in center of mixture. Combine milk, butter and eggs; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

2. Spoon batter into a round 1 1/2 quart casserole dish coated with vegetable cooking spray. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over top.

3. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes; slice and serve warm, or turn out onto a wire rack, and cool completely before slicing. Yield: 1 loaf (12 slices).
