REAL GERMAN CHEESE CAKE 
16 to 24 graham crackers - unsweetened and crushed
1 stick butter
2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pt. sour cream
3 eggs
1 can cherry or blueberry pie filling

Use a springform pan. Line the bottom of pan with crushed graham crackers and melted butter.

Beat the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Fold in vanilla and sour cream. Pour over crumbs.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave the cake in the oven for 1 hour.

Top with cherry or blueberry pie filling.
