1 lb. Domino xxx sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Combine all ingredients except nuts in top of double boiler. Place over simmering water and stir until smooth. Add nuts and mix. Spread candy quickly in buttered 9 x 5 loaf pan. Cool; cut in squares. Yields 2 dozen pieces.
