CHINESE SALAD | |
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can French style green beans, drained 1 (16 oz.) can mixed Chinese vegetables, drained 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can English peas, drained 1 c. celery, diced 1 sm. red onion, sliced thin & separated into rings 1 c. sugar 3/4 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Combine beans, vegetables, peas, celery and onion in a medium bowl. Combine sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix well. Pour over vegetable mixture, tossing lightly to mix. Cover and chill at least 24 hours. Salad may be stored in refrigerator up to 1 week. |
