Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies

 Rebekah (Kansas) says:
These cookies were so delicious. I followed the recipes exactly & they turned out fabulously. No need to mess with a simple recipe because it seems like simple always turns out the best. I used cherry cordial kisses for Valentine's day & they were yummy.

These were AMAZING! I altered the recipe like everyone had suggested, and I must say worked out wonderfully... Better recipe than the one from the hershey bag and way simpler also :-)

Instead of the kiss I used chocolate frosting and they were great. The kids loved them.

 Jenn (Vermont) says:
Just made eight dozen of these (2 & 1/2 batches) and they came out perfect; followed the recipe but took others' advice and changed to 1 & 1/2 cups flour and 3/4 cup peanut butter. Would definitely recommend these!

 Mary Ann (Michigan) says:
I used the original recipe. I always refrigerate my dough before rolling into the balls, expecially if the dough is quite soft. Also, I hate unwrapping the kisses, so I substitute Brach's Chocolate Stars. Plenty of chocolate and much easier!

I just made these and less flour and more peanut butter. They are FANTASTIC!

 Sue (Wisconsin) says:
I never make less than a double batch, but I use 1/2 butter & 1/2 margarine ( I use Imperial) but what ever. I get exactly 96 cookies per doubled batch. my cookie exchange request these each year :-))))

These were excellent! We were a little worried about using this recipe, but they turned out great. We used normal sugar to roll in, but did follow the suggestion about peanut butter and flour.
