POTATO PATTIES 
5 lg. potatoes, peeled and diced

Cover with water and boil until tender. Drain and mash real well. Add: 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper 1/2 c. flour 1 egg

Roll into patties or drop by spoonfuls in deep hot fat. Fry golden brown. Cold mashed potatoes may be used.
