TROPICAL PIE 
3 egg yolks
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. water
2/3 c. crushed pineapple
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
3 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. butter

Beat yolks 1 minute. Add sugar; beat until creamy. Add salt and flour and when blended add rest of ingredients. Cook in double boiler until thick and creamy. It will require about 15 minutes to thicken. Stir frequently. Pour into baked pie shell and spread with meringue.

MERINGUE:

3 egg whites
1/2 c. sugar

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and beat until creamy. Roughly spread over filling. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown in slow oven. Cool and serve.
