EASY-CHEESY LEMON BARS 
1 pkg. lemon cake mix
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 pkg. lemon frosting mix or 1 container ready mixed frosting
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese (softened)
1 or 2 eggs (1 egg = less cholesterol)
(If 1 egg, add a little moisture like milk)

Combine cake mix, butter and egg. Stir until moist. Grease bottom only of 13x9 inch pan and pat the dough into pan. (Dough is stiff so be patient while patting.)

Blend frosting into cream cheese. Reserve 1/2 cup or slightly less for frosting baked bars. Add 1 or 2 eggs to remaining frosting mixture and beat 3 to 5 minutes until smooth. Spread over base and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes. Cool and frost. Cut into bars. Refrigerate leftovers.
