1 pkg. lemon cake mix (18 oz.)
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 (16 oz.) can lemon frosting

Oven 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, butter and 1 egg in mixer bowl. Mix well. Press into bottom of greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Blend cream cheese and frosting in mixer bowl. Reserve 1/2 cup for frosting. Add 2 eggs to remaining frosting mixture. Beat for 3 minutes. spread over mixture in pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden. Cool. Spread frosting mixture over top. Cut into bars. Makes 3 dozen.
