HONEY GINGERED CARROTS 
1 lb. fresh carrots
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. honey
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Pare carrots and cut into thick. Slice lengthwise into 4 sticks. Combine carrots and water in a 1-quart casserole and cover. Microwave on high 7-8 minutes. Drain.

Mix honey, lemon juice, ginger, salt and pepper; toss with carrots. Microwave on high until reheated. Makes 4-6 servings. May be served chilled.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
